When you need something professionally handled in Sierra Leone, LPMSL is the trusted partner you can rely on.
Local Project Management Sierra Leone (LPMSL) was founded as a professional local coordination and project management service that provides trusted support to Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora and within Sierra Leone who are too busy with work or other commitments, yet need to get their local projects moving.
We understand the value that our diaspora and our international partners bring to the country's development. We believe that every investment made, every business launched, every home built, and every initiative undertaken contributes to a brighter future for our nation.
However, many Sierra Leoneans living abroad and international clients often face challenges making investments and managing projects due to distance and limited access to trusted and effective local support.
LPMSL serves as a needed and reliable source for clients by providing local representation through project supervision, coordination, reporting, and technical assistance.
Mr. Kamara is an honours graduate of Fourah Bay College with a strong background in youth development, civic engagement, and community leadership. He has extensive experience and collaboration in advocacy, field reporting, research, and public communication aimed at driving social change.
He has previously served in the Ministry of Gender and Children's Affairs, Sierra Leone, collaborating with various national and international organisations, conducting workshops, and providing field reports across multiple districts in Sierra Leone.
He has also participated in joint monitoring activities with BRAC.
As a volunteer Facilitator for the Ministry of Information and Civic Education, he supported the planning and facilitation of the National Civic Festival hosted by the Ministry.
He is a well-trained project manager through a PMI-certified training partner, bringing professional project management knowledge to his practical experience in local coordination and field work.
As a passionate advocate for gender equality and community development, Jimmy Kamara's work has spanned numerous community engagement initiatives and development projects in Sierra Leone.
